4th Place in City Tournament - Soccer
The 7th and 8th grade General soccer team lost 5-2 in their last game of the City of Lights, and took 4th place. Jose Gallegoes scored both of Washington's goals. He scored a penalty kick and one on a break-away. Guillermo Rodriguez, Alberto Rodriguez, and Zach Vincent played a great defensive game. Danny Sanchez played strong in defense for the entire game. In midfield, Noel Cerda, Robert Espinoza, Fernando Miranda, and Jose Meraz played a great game. At forward, Giovanni Martinez chased the other team down for the ball. Way to be aggressive.
